11h00 Concluding session : Workshop synthesis (Ch. BAHIER-PORTE), Prospects for ornaments databases (S. CORSINI, BCU Lausanne), Prospects in digital humanities (G. BERGEL).

The workshop will echo projects for the development of computer vision tools aiming to help human experts in their analysis of ancient documents. It will allow discussion about recent methods in machine learning likely to improve or extend capabilities of image retrieval and query image analysis.

Cet atelier fait écho aux projets de développement d’outils de visualisation assistés par ordinateur, visant à aider les experts humains à l’analyse de documents anciens. Il ouvrira la discussion sur des méthodes récentes en machine learning susceptibles d’améliorer ou d’étendre les capacités de récupération d’image et d’analyse d’image de requête.
